Nora - 8/26/2020

Nora ate whole wheat toast and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate carrots, and three servings of fruit salad.    

"Gary, please take out my ponytail."  8:25 this morning.  "Why do you like me to do that everyday just as soon as you get here?"  Nora answered; "So I can sleep better."  LOL.  

Nora was trying to tell Atley something, but couldn't find the right words.  She finally said, "I'm scared if I think!"  Haha.  That hit my funny bone.  Easy fix; don't think!!  (I think maybe males are the only ones actually capable of that!  What are you thinking about? "Nothing."  And it's really true.  Haha.)

First picture; Nora was playing with the binoculars and I didn't think she was even looking at Cal. Anyhow, she said, "Say Cheese."  So Cal was walking around saying, "say cheese, say cheese."

Next picture: Avi was playing with this sack over her head and then shared her sack with Nora!!  Following picture: Nora and Svea hanging out together again.  It's really cute and interesting how the kids interact with each other.  And what attracts certain personalities to each other.  Nora invited Svea to lay beside her; "there are two pillows here Svea."  Nora knows Svea will lay like that, but not Avi or Atley!! Last picture: Nora wearing Avi's "Cat Boy" mask.  And practicing her modeling skills too!!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
