Nora - 8/27/2020

Nora had two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate  hamburger and sausage pizza with meat, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce.  She ate whole wheat pizza crust (which we serve separate) and ate three servings of pineapple on the side.  During Lunch Avilene asked, "How do you know these peppers (in the pizza) are good to eat?"  This was the only answer I could think of:  "Well they were in Costco's food section so I just made an assumption.  And I guess there is a certain amount of faith involved too."  Haha. 

So the kids were waving bye at the window to Momma Emily and Atley said something about "Emily driving the truck."  Nora said, "Yes, Daddy is in Bozeman because Birdy had to go to the Dentist."  Ok, now I'm judging NO ONE, but I know my mouth flew open!!  What!?!  Hahaha.

First picture;  Nora and Svea spent a LOT of time in the igloo this morning.  Pretty much just doing what you see in the picture: laying in there and sucking their thumbs!!  Haha.  We went outside and played and then these two were back into the igloo!!   The following picture makes me laugh!!  These four were at the sinks playing; Nora busy making and mixing food.  Svea was busy making different expressions and watching herself in the mirror.  Haha.  Miles is right there with the rest!!

Last picture;  Avi, Atley, and Nora played with the parachute most of the outside time this morning.  (Avi and Nora are under there!!)  The Nelson family may be happy to hear I ordered my own parachute today!!  Haha.  I have a small one, but this one is twice as big and the kids LOVE it.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
