Nora - 8/28/2020

Nora ate most of oatmeal and ate dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and two servings of applesauce.  She and Atley was SO silly all the way through Lunch!  They usually have fun and enjoy each other, but today the silliness was nuts.  Part of the reason: They were the only two at the table (Avi and Svea left at 11:00 for Seely Lake) and Another part: Nora's relentless giggles only served to inspire Atley to greater levels of nuttiness.  :)  

First picture: Nora is doing an in-depth explanation of what she and Atley constructed with the doll house accessories and container.  As near as I could tell it was basically a cruise ship or a party boat with a "slide that goes down into the water."  :)  Following picture; Svea and Nora in the igloo again and it's VERY FULL with ALL the pillows, dolls, doll blankets, stuffed animals, dress-up clothes, shoes, purses, hats, and I think that's about it.  :)


Next picture: Atley and Nora setting up their meal table.  Look at Nora giving Cal the "skunk-eye" for trying to help himself to their groceries.  Haha.  However, I noticed she was more lenient when her brother Miles did the exact same thing.  You're playing favorites Nora!!  :)  Last picture: The kids had fun outside running off some excess energy.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
