Nora - 9/11/2020

Nora ate oatmeal and three servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, and green beans.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll and three servings of apricots.  At breakfast Avilene was giving everyone the update on her upcoming activities: "Gonna play soccer (practice) tonight...two sleeps until soccer game....three sleeps until gymnastics."  Nora said, "Wow, you got thinks (Dr Seuss) in your head!"  LOL..Avi said, "No, my Mom just told me."  Isn't that the cutest!!

This first picture is leftover from yesterday.  I was taking a picture of these three girls because they were having a secretive conference.  (They had their heads together whispering and it was super cute.)  At the same moment Atley spotted a bug on the blue balance beam.  Haha.  Look at her expression!!  Love this!!  

Nora started howling like she was dying and I'd seen and heard nothing!??!  What the heck!?  "What happened Nora?"  Nora said, "Atley screamed at me!"  "What!?! I didn't hear it."  However, Atley then took ownership and said, "That's because I was close to her."  LOL!  Cracked me up.

Next picture: So if you already saw Miles' Blog this is the picture I was referring to.  Miles was yanking on their door covering and they were admonishing him.  Haha.  Nora was hanging on to the covering and trying to push Miles away with her left leg.  :)  Let the good times roll.  :)


Last picture:  Nora said she was making more art work for "Grandma and Grandpa."  She pointed out a "spider" and the "sun."  They have a strong resemblance, but what do I know!!  Haha.

It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
