Nora - 9/17/2020

Nora ate half of cinnamon raisin English muffin and ate three servings of cherries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, three servings of peas in three servings of applesauce.  "I love peas in my applesauce!!"  

First picture; Atley and Nora were doing some of their usual dance moves in front of the mirror and I think this picture is so stinking cute.  It's very cute of both of them.  Second picture: Now this is in contrast to the dancing picture:  Haha, still cute, but a little construction work.  All four of these kids were banging the "drills" on the table at the same time.  Sometimes in unison, but always loud.  :)

Today, just like yesterday, Atley and Nora didn't spend any time in the Preschool Room.  Too much fun getting attention from Christina and showing off for her.  Especially running and jumping on the mattress. They were reading in the next picture.  Gideon is looking at his book too.  This is one of the few times Gideon wasn't trying to maul them, which they got tired of in a hurry.  They heard this sentence a few times; "Go out to the Preschool Room if he's bugging you."   It was too much fun showing off and they could run away from him too.  :)  Last picture:  Atley and Nora were laying on the shelves of the changing table right before nap time.  This is where they were at when I called them out for nap.  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
