Nora - 9/9/2020

Nora ate whole wheat toast and ate mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate cauliflower, and ate two servings of fruit salad.   

Nora, Atley, and Avi were doing an activity and I was in the Daycare Room with the 3 little ones.  Nora started screaming and crying intensely like she does and came out to me.  What are you crying about?  Nora said, "Avi took the red cup away from Atley!"  That's what you're crying about!?!?  She said, "No." Ok, so what are you crying about?  Nora said, "I don't know."  Oh man I laughed and she started laughing. 

First picture;  Atley, Nora, and Svea dancing in front of the mirror.  I love how they go right to the mirror to do their dancing.  :)  Following Nora's lead!  Second picture: Nora and Atley were playing with the big car ramp and I kept hearing; "No Miles, no!  No Miles, no!" Look at Miles' innocent face.  :)  Last picture; Doing some puzzles.  The one Nora and Atley are working on is unique. (Compared to the average puzzle like the one Avi has.)  This was very challenging for Nora and I'd be happy to talk to you about it if you're interested.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
