Nora - 10/27/2020

I've gotten a couple of questions about Program closure dates for the Holidays ahead.  So here's a reminder of those dates:  
      November 26 & 27     Thanksgiving
     December 24 & 25.    Christmas
Also, A reminder for closure dates in January 2021.
      January 1
      January 4th - 8th.

Nora ate half of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, beets, and three servings of applesauce.  First picture:  Five out of the six kids were at the window to wave bye to Momma Megan this morning! In Atley's Blog I told Megan she was very popular!!  AND of course I had to add; "you were also the last parent to drive by!!"  Haha!!  

First picture:  Avi had the binoculars and was getting a close up of Nora's face, but it was Avi who was asking, "Can you see me? Can you see me? Can you see me?"  Haha.  When Avi was done Nora asked to play with them and it sounded exactly like this;  With 4 distinct syllables.  "Bee-knock-lee-ers."  "Gary, can I play with the bee-knock-lee-ers?"  Following picture:  Of course when Nora uses them, what would be the best use of binoculars?!?  Well of course!!  Go the the mirror for some close-ups!!  Haha.  

Next picture:  Everyone is doing their version of the Macarena!  :)  Miles and Callahan don't have a clue what's going on, but they're sure enjoying the fun and the rowdiness!   Last picture:  This is one of those "I Spy" books, but it's a difficult book with LOTS of items on the page and the thing you're supposed to spot is very small!!  So it's time to introduce you kids to the magnifying glass.  After a certain age they are essential!!  Haha!  (Nora is holding up the magnifying glass.)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
