Nora - 10/30/2020

Nora ate bites of cream of wheat cereal and ate one dried plum for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, no brown rice, ate broccoli, and three servings of pineapple.   

Nora was "messing" with her dress over and over and over and over.  I couldn't see where she was accomplishing anything so I had to ask!!  Hahaha.  What are you doing with your dress!?!  Nora said, "I'm fluffing it up." Haha.  I should have guessed it was something like that.  :)

First picture;  I'm not real sure what they were doing with their wands, but I think it was some kind of a ritual.  Haha.  Following picture;  Would you like to guess what the girls are searching for on the mattress.  Hint; the same thing they searched for many times this morning.  I asked them; "what are you looking for?" "Sparkles."  :) 

Next picture:  Atley and Nora had constructed this block wall and when Atley was satisfied with the results she told Cal and Nora, "Ok guys, it's time to go to sleep."  And then she started singing, "Rock-a-bye Baby."  Haha.  If you look close you'll see Nora is grinning at Atley and Cal is like; "What the heck are you talking about?!?"  Haha.

Last picture;  I took several pictures of this, but this one is the best picture even though Nora's eyes are covered up.  Sigh....  This is the new approach for picking up the doll house accessories.  They were using the side of the doll house like a "ski jump" and sending each toy off the jump and the toys were landing in the basket.  Well done girls.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
