Nora - 11/13/2020

Nora ate bites of oatmeal and ate baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate salmon, bites of whole wheat dinner roll, ate riced cauliflower, and two servings of mangoes.   There is nothing like meal time conversations here!!  Ha!!  Lunch conversation centered around all 3 big girls doing "one-upsman-ship" talking about who has the most new ski equipment!!  Hahaha.  "Well I have this and I have this!!" "Well I have more!!"  Nora talked about some guy "had the smallest ski poles I've ever seen!"  Occasionally I'll say, "What did you say?"  And they frequently will say, "I'm talking to Avi" or "Nora" or "Atley."  LOL.  So I just listen the best I can and put it here in the Blogs!!  Haha.

First two pictures are from yesterday:  I've mentioned several times how Nora is doing so well with the puzzles and is so much more confident that she can complete the more difficult puzzles.  Nice work Nora. So proud of you.  Following picture;  Having fun in the snow.  This little hump in the snow was from it sliding off the metal roof.  (Those are Avi's legs in the air.)

At breakfast Atley said, "Gary, Nora is being a bad friend."  Why do you say that?  "Because she's not saying anything funny or laughing when I make a funny face."  LOL!!  Nora said, "I don't wanna laugh at you."  Oh man, what a riot.  Next two pictures;  Playing the "Cootie Game" and "Farmyard Bingo" again. Avi is the "caller" in the bingo game.  She twirls the arrow and then says whatever it lands on;  "Does anyone have a blue cow?"  (On their card.)  "Does anyone have a red pig."

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
