Nora - 11/17/2020

Nora ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of her chicken, bites of brown rice, half of stir fry vegetables, and ate mandarin oranges.   Ok this next piece is not about Nora, but I think you'll enjoy it.  At Lunch Time Avi said, "Gary, I feel electricity running through my chair!!"  LOL  Geez that hit my funny bone!  That's simply NOT true Avi AND I've never considered that as a possibility!!  Ha!  My question is obvious Avilene; How do you know what a jolt of electricity feels like!?!  Haha

First picture: Yup, I like pictures of the kids at the window.  Haha.  Waving bye to Atley's Momma.  Atley is a big girl, but she's also frequently on her tiptoes like in this picture!!  Haha.  Which just makes her look that much bigger!!  Ha!!  Second picture: Nora, what is your costume?  "I'm a superhero."  It's always good to have a superhero hanging around!!  I like how her cape is straight behind her; looks like she just landed!!  She said, "Where is Lauralea? I want to show her."  :)

Next picture: Check out the eyeball.  Haha.  Nora brought this book to show me something and I was expecting a picture of something she likes.  Nope, it's a tiny rip in the page right beside her left thumb.  Haha.  Thank you Nora.  Look at that eye; the page rip is very serious.  :)  Last picture:  Sharing her cape with Atley.  Atley asked if she could wear it and Nora said, "Yes for a minute.  I really love that cape."  Thank you Nora.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
