Nora - 11/24/2020

Nora ate half of cinnamon raisin English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of pork roast, two servings of whole wheat toast, ate beets, and two servings of applesauce.  All three big girls were trying to talk at the same time at breakfast.  This is a common occurrence and I try to let them deal with it as much as possible.  Nora said, "Atley! You're talking in front of me!!"  I kind of like that wording.  

These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Nora and Svea had the couch loaded up with soft goodies and were pretending to sleep.  Svea has her head hanging off the edge and you can see Nora's feet hanging off the edge too.  All of a sudden Svea sat up, threw her arms in the air, and said, "Look at all the presents!!"  Haha.  Second picture;  They were dinking around on the couch and Svea put her feet in Nora's lap.  Oh man, big mistake!!  Nora was screaming and yelling like the worst possible thing just happened!  Haha.  Svea was very repentant, telling her she was so sorry, stroking Nora's hair, and you can see her trying to snuggle Nora in the picture.  :)

Next picture:  Nora and Atley working on their own puzzles.  Nora started a puzzle when it was just her and Miles here just minutes after 8:00 this morning.  Nora said, "I used to watch my friends do puzzles and suck my thumb."  That's right Nora and now you're so brave and confident to try your own puzzles and do the hardest ones as well.  I just love this.  Last picture:  The three big girls were doing some art that Lauralea had for them.  They put the glue in the shape of their "Letter" and then used beads of a color of their choice for their "Letter."  They filled in around their letter with other color beads.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
