Nora - 11/25/2020

Nora ate French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of whole 30 chili with meat, peppers, tomatoes, tomato sauce, sweet potatoes, and spices.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll, and two servings of tropical fruit.  At the Lunch Table Nora and Avi were pretending like Atley was here today.  (She went with her family to a Ranch in Eastern Montana on a hunting trip.)  They were talking to Atley's empty chair and saying things like;  "Come on Atley; just eat it.  You like it.  You can try it."  Haha.  Even Svea got in on the make-believe talk.

First two pictures;  Avi brought a wooden "pirate ship stacking puzzle" from home and her and Nora were working on that.  However in the first picture Nora was way more interested in Avi's necklace than anything else.  Haha.  

Next picture:  Nora and Avilene heard Svea announce that "Gary!! I'm poopy!"  They sprint for front row seats in the viewing gallery!!  This is the response of the 4 oldest kids, every time, every day, and it never seems to get old!!  Goofy kids.  I've mentioned this before, but the Cline girls did the same thing for as long as they were - even when they were in the 1st and 2nd grades and coming here after school.  Last picture:  Taking of picture of Nora while she takes a picture of me.  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
