Nora - 12/16/2020

Nora ate whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate carrot/potato vegetable mix, and three large servings of fruit salad.  

These first two pictures are left over from yesterday, but they're SO adorable.  This is how Nora and Cal sat all through Story Time.  I had to be sneaky to take this picture.  I kept holding the book out and that's what they're focused on.  Cal loves Miles, Miles loves Cal, Nora adores Miles, so this is a simple conclusion;  Nora loves Cal.  Haha.  Second picture:  She's always doing the "cross-eyed" thing and it's just too cute.  Look at those big eyes.  She's a beauty.  

Next picture:  These four girls were sitting on the couch listening to Alexa tell them a "spooky story" at Avi's request.  I love how Nora is leaning back into Avi snuggling and Avi has her arm around Nora.  Avi asked if I wanted a picture of them snuggling.  :)  Atley is stretched out beside them barely on the couch.  Haha.  Ok things can get a little crowded when everyone tries to be cooking in the kitchen at the same!! Especially when one of them decides to sit on the countertop!!  Ha!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
