Nora - 12/22/2020

Nora had no whole wheat English muffin and ate three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, two servings of whole wheat toast, ate beets, and applesauce. 

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  Not too much to say about it, but I just thought it was cute.  She sometimes gets a bit skittish (yes I know that term is usually used with animals, but it fits so well here; haha!) when she sees me slinking around with a camera.  But she didn't even know I took this picture.  :) 

Next picture: We cut up two paper Christmas plates and made them our "puzzles."  Nora and Atley were playing with them this morning.  They don't fit together as good as a "real" puzzle and Nora wasn't super impressed; or impressed at all!  Haha.  Following picture:  Nora was cutting some tape for whatever her taping project was; which you can see laying on the table.  Ya gotta hold your mouth just the right way to cut this tape.  :)

Last picture: Nora and Atley were playing on the mattress and pretending to sleep.  Atley was much more eager to "wake up" and keep playing!  She'd lay for a few moments and yell, "It's morning time!!"  Nora would say, "NO, it's NOT morning time!!"  Haha.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
