Nora - 01/20/2021

Nora ate two servings of whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortilla, ate carrots, and three servings of fruit salad.  

Yesterday afternoon when Andy picked up Svea for gymnastics the kids were at the window waiting to wave bye.  As the truck went on by Nora said, "They didn't even stop!!"  Atley said, "Maybe they couldn't hit the brakes very well!!"  Hahaha. 

First picture;  The kids were right back to the art table first thing this morning.  Nora and Miles were the first ones here and Nora was all set up working on her art before Ryan even drove by.  Second picture;  The three big girls were playing at the Doll Houses.  They shut off the light so "the baby can sleep." Then they were sitting like you see in the picture;  "Now what are you guys playing?"  One word answer; "Delivery."  Atley was the delivery person and handing supplies over the top.  Haha.  Very interesting.  Growing up in the age of "everything is delivered!!"  And of course the Pandemic has increased this substantially.  

Last picture:  Avi asked if we could watch a video so they could learn (actually relearn) the motions to "The Chicken Dance."  Sure.  This was a very cute tutorial and the kids loved it.  You can see Atley, Avi, and Nora were in the process of flapping their "wings."  Miles is actually in the picture too; see him in the mirror on the left; just the top of his head.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
