Nora - 01/25/2021

Nora ate corn chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, tomatoes, avocado, and two servings of mandarin oranges. 

This was toy exchange weekend and in the first picture Nora is wearing the "lioness" suit.  I told her that and she said, "No I'm not! I'm a cat."  Haha.  She was staring hard (basically trying to ignore me and my camera - ha) and said she was "a cat statue."  Haha.  In the second picture Nora is helping Callahan get on the leopard jacket.  As soon as he got it on he said, "Zip it, zip it."  Except the zipper doesn't work anymore! Sorry Cal!  That jacket has seen many many years of Little Treasures Child Care.  :)  

Nora was also making a surprise for Atley's Birthday and she instructed Atley to close her eyes before coming to the couch to see the big surprise!  Atley was totally cooperating with Nora's instructions.  Good job of playing with your friends Atley.  Nora wore the cat suit almost all morning.  When she finally did change out of it, she put on the frog suit.  The frog suit is small and legs of the suit were not much below her knees.  Haha.  But she's petite enough she could fit right in it!!  That made me laugh.  Last picture;  The girls getting set up to do some Art work this morning.  Getting lots of supplies out and ready to go!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
