Nora - 02/09/2021

Nora ate half of whole grain blueberry waffle and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, corn, and two servings of baked cinnamon apples.  

First picture: Nora was working on a Valentine's Heart and gluing some stickers on it. You'll see Nora showing this heart to Brother Miles in his Journal today. In the following picture Svea had said to Nora; "Did you miss me Nora?" Ha. And Nora was so sweet and said, "Yes." Svea just loves Nora and actually the feeling is mutual. Nora almost always gets excited to see Svea first thing in the morning. 

Next picture: there was a lot more going on here than you can see in the picture! Avilene was taking pictures with a camera from the Preschool Room and she was working on getting Nora and Svea into position for the picture she had in mind!! Avi wanted BOTH girls on their heads for the picture AND Avi worked until she accomplished exactly that! In the picture below she has Nora in position and is heading over to get Svea where she wants her. And Avi has the picture to prove it! When Avi went to assist Svea, sister Svea was laughing her head off. Avi kept saying, "No! No giggling Svea! Stop it!" 

Last picture; Atley loves to be the "reader" and Nora was content to listen while Atley read to her. All these kids are growing SO fast!! Geez!!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
