Nora - 02/17/2021

Nora ate whole wheat toast and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate carrots, potatoes, and two servings of fruit salad. At the breakfast table Nora was announcing (again) to everyone "I'm gonna have 2 birthdays!" Atley and Avi were immediately wanting all the details! "What, where, why, and when!?!" Nora continued, "One of them is in Arizona." Avilene said, "My Mom and I are gonna fly to Arizona for your Birthday party!" Haha.

First picture: Well lucky you; you get a picture of Avi and Gary!! Ha! So look at the photographer in the mirror! None other than Nora Lee Hansen! (I hope I remembered her middle name correctly!) Nora and Avi can operate my phone camera just as good as me; maybe better. I hope to have them doing my Blogs soon as well!! Ha.

Next picture; Nora was pouting - not crying - just pouting (this only lasted a few moments) about not getting her way on the mattress and this cracked me up! She has her head jammed about as far into this space as she can get it. Ha. Next picture; The girls wanted to do some coloring and asked for pictures to color. The pictures Atley and Nora chose are large and lots of details. Nora was bored with it long before it was completed and she asked Atley to work on it for her. Ha. She sat there sucking her thumb and telling Atley which color to use. Last picture; Sitting on pillows and going down the "big slide" with Svea. :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
