Nora - 02/23/2021

Nora ate bites of cinnamon raisin English muffin and ate her grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, beets, and two servings of applesauce. 

First picture: I hid some goodies for the three big kids to find. Airplane for Atley (which she has in her left hand), Woody for Avi, and Buzz Lightyear for Nora. Rule; If you spot someone else's goodie you leave it, but you can give them a hint. Atley points at something on the shelf and asked Avi, "Are you gonna look in there or not!?" Haha. Good hint Atley. 

Next picture: Well look who asked me to fix her ponytail!! That's been awhile since I got that request from Nora. She was checking it out in the mirror and she even cooperated when I asked her to hold the pose while I got my camera. Ha. Thank you little Cutie McFutie!! 

Here are a couple pictures of Nora working on her Art today. She drew a circle and made a flower; then stuck her finger through the middle. What did you make? "A ring." So maybe it wasn't a flower; I was just assuming that. Last picture: She was drawing "grass" (and I thought I was the only color-blind person here! Haha) across the bottom, then a "road," and "someone walking on the road."

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
