Nora - 02/26/2021

Nora ate cream of wheat cereal and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat dinner roll, ate broccoli, and two servings of pineapple.  

First picture: Avilene brought her big Olaf blanket again and every one loves playing with it. Including both Hansen kids. Ha. 

Next picture: Nora played with this pillow for several minutes and it seemed to be kind of soothing for her. :) She said, "Gary, this is a number 1 for Miles." Nicely done Nora. I like that. Here's why I mentioned the "soothing" part; this morning has been a little bit harder than usual for Nora. It reminded me a bit of when Mommy was gone to New Orleans. When something is different she feels everything very intently. And she has mentioned to me several times (3 - 4) this week about Daddy going to Bozeman.  

Last picture: All three girls wanted some "big" paper to make snowmen. And they worked hard on their projects. Nora was super proud of herself for making the snowman's hat "all by myself!" Nice accomplishment Nora. Atley made a comment about the bottom circle on Nora's snowman and then very quickly (and wisely - ha!) retracted her comment!! :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
