Nora - 04/20/2021

Nora ate half of her English muffin and ate three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, ate beets, and applesauce.

First picture; From yesterday when Nora was giving Cal a ride in the stroller. Ha. Cal thought it was wonderful. :) Right after this is when Nora got angry because Miles would not get in the stroller the way she wanted him too. He was trying to crawl in facing the stroller and she wanted him to back in. And of course that hit my funny bone and I chuckled. Oops, bad mistake. Nora chewed on me for that. :) "It's NOT funny!!" (Which somehow managed to make it funnier, but I contained myself that time!!) 

Next picture: We made a "castle" and covered it with a blanket. Five kids were under there and the first frantic phrase I heard; "Hey!! I don't have any room!!" Ha. And of course Cal could not resist joining the fun time. Ha. Following picture; Svea has been asking for the play doh and the rest of the kids - except Miles - joined in the fun. Miles will soon be there as well. 

Last picture: The four girls playing a "feelings matching game" again. They all got matches in this first game. About the time I took the picture Svea was saying, "I really really really need another match!" Ha. And she actually did get another one before the game was over. :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
