Nora - 06/15/2021

Nora ate toasted and buttered whole wheat English muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate pork roast, two servings of whole wheat toast, ate beets, and applesauce. 

First picture: I took this picture when these three kids were at the window waving bye - as both families arrived at basically the same time this morning. So there is a rabbit in the picture too - in case one of the families thought the kids were a bit distracted at the window! :) You can zoom in and see the rabbit just over the top of the trailer wheel and a bit to the right. :) Of course Miles is looking it the other direction! 

Two pictures before swim lessons: Selfies with Gary. Little Cutie! "I wanna snuggle Gary." And she's usually willing to let me do a couple of selfies for a snuggle. Ha. Following picture; After breakfast she did a puzzle on the floor. Do you wanna use the table? "No, I wanna do it on the floor." :) Then she added; "I love doing these puzzles."

Next picture; Outside after swim lessons! This is Nora's pose - flamingo style - as she searches the ceiling of the patio for bees. She's spotted one there recently and she's pretty anxious and nervous there may be more! She noticed I was watching her and said, "I'm silly." That was cute. But those stinking bugs do make her jumpy. Last picture: So speaking of bugs; The boys had spotted one of the resident beetles and they do get pretty big; or at least comparatively speaking for what we usually see in our yard. This picture pretty much tells the story. She wants to see it, but she doesn't want to see it!! :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
