Nora - 07/14/2021

Nora ate whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of pork roast, no one had whole wheat tortillas as I forgot them in plain sight on the counter - ha, she ate half of her potatoes, half of her carrots, and ate fruit salad.  

First picture from yesterday afternoon during Nap Time. Atley is having some Table Time and I guess Nora decided that was a good time to hug Atley. Haha. I'm not sure Atley realized Nora was there because she didn't even look up. I'm down to one Tablet - after starting with three - so the girls each get a turn and I set a timer.

Next two pictures are also from yesterday. Nora and Svea put the cozy corner rug on the top of the legos table and were laying there nice and comfy. Cal decided they needed to be covered with pillows and stuffed animals and the girls were happy with that. He'd just tossed the yellow and black dress-up bumblebee jacket you see in the corner. 

Last picture: Nora had on her superhero mask and cape. That didn't slow her down from doing some front flips. So here's a blurry picture of the superhero in the middle of a front flip.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
