Nora - 07/15/2021

Nora ate bites of blueberry bagel and ate peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, tomato sauce, pineapple, peppers, and olives. She ate bites of whole wheat pizza crust (we serve on the side) and bites of pineapple on the side.   

Lauralea had to go to Plains today to help her family so there is no Science with Lauralea today.

First picture: Nora doing a front-flip in her snazzy outfit! First thing this morning she told me: "Hey Gary! My Mom used to ice-skate in this!!" Wow! You had to be tough growing up in Great Falls! In Paradise at least my folks let me wear warm clothes before sending me off to the nearest pond to skate!! (Lauralea tells me I'm not as funny as I think I am. Silly Lauralea.)

Next picture; Eyeball stickers have been the lasted craze for yesterday and today! Nora started creating some "aliens" and everyone was on board for that. Here are two of Nora's aliens! Good work Nora. You worked hard on these. 

Next picture: Atley caught some kind of bug outside - I think it was a box elder bug - and Svea and Nora were kind of interested, but not too interested. Ha. Last picture: Five out of the six kids are gathered around the home of a couple of roly-poly bugs. I'm sure it's pretty dark down that hole, but this was their choice for observing the bugs. Ha. Miles was not allowed to look because he apparently wanted to grab it and run. :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
