Nora - 07/19/2021

Nora ate most of corn chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate two servings of ground beef covered with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, ate tomatoes, and two servings of mandarin oranges.  

Nora started talking about our lawn and I KNEW she was curious when "Tate" might be here to mow. She said, "Your grass is getting long." Haha. "You didn't look very close Nora!! Tate mowed yesterday!!" Ha! Nora said, "Oh shoot! I wish I was here!!" LOL That made me laugh so much. 

First picture: Nora did some Art work first thing this mooning. I asked her to tell me about her paper. She said, "This is a closet on wheels so you can move it anywhere you want!!" That's a handy closet. :) And the girl on the right is Nora. Second picture: Miles joined Nora who was already laying on the cozy corner rug. I like how Nora looped her arm into Miles' arm. :) 

Next picture: I love that I can "stop-freeze" the pictures!! Nora went on over, but I primarily loved how perfect her form was!! Well done Nora! (Her eyes got HUGE when I showed her this picture! Ha.) Following picture: Atley and Nora were reading Preschool books AND being pretty silly at the same time! Hard to believe right!?! Haha.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
