Nora - 07/20/2021

Nora ate half of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate pork roast, two servings of whole wheat toast, ate beets, and applesauce.  

Nora was washing her hands in the bathroom while Svea was going potty and Nora said, "I'm so proud of you Svea for going potty in the toilet. Good job!" I just love it when Nora does that. AND it encourages the other kids to say positive things too. Moments later Svea complimented Nora on her shirt. "I really like your shirt Nora!" 

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon. Svea fell asleep in the chair in the Preschool Room. If you could see this in live mode you'd see Nora was intent on bugging Svea and not letting her rest. Avi and Atley kept trying to grab Nora's arm, but Nora's a slippery little critter. Haha. Svea's nap probably lasted about 15 - 20 minutes. 

Next picture: Atley and Nora were having fun on the balance beam and mattress. Atley was keeping her body straight and flopping pretty good!! Ha. Following picture: Nora waiting for Swim Lesson. I'd tightened up her ponytail for her and she was checking it out in the mirror. Last picture; Everyone was back from swim lessons and Svea was sharing her pink poodle "Camilla" with Nora.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
