Nora - 07/27/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two large servings of brown rice soaked in blackberry juice, ate broccoli, and black raspberries. At breakfast Nora said, "I'm SO excited to see Vermont!" Oh, when are you going to Vermont? "Oh I don't know; after the other Fall." Haha. But she did know it had to be a "fall thing." 

This first picture is left over from yesterday and believe me, this is a rare sight. Nora brushing Avi's hair! So rare that I think it's the first time I've seen it!! Haha. And this was actually the second time Nora brushed it yesterday!! I didn't get a picture the first time! Nora had this brush in her back pack and for whatever reason Avi was very into what they were doing!

We moved the box inside and this is where Nora played until she left for Swim Lesson. Cal is in the box with her and he was poking his head out too when I took this picture. Last picture: Nora had LOTS of toys shoved inside and blankets and a rug draped over the outside. Like usual this is their "cave."

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
