Nora - 08/10/2021

Nora ate bites of whole wheat English muffin and bites of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, bites of brown rice, ate broccoli, and two servings of mandarin oranges.  

Sometimes when I see Nora sucking her thumb I've started saying one word, "Kindergarten!" This morning Nora yelled at me and said, "You NEVER let me suck my thumb!!" Haha. Believe me, she gets plenty of thumb sucking opportunities. Then at the breakfast table Nora was squealing on Svea for sucking her thumb!! What the heck!?! Silly kids!! 

The kids had Alexa playing "Moana" and they were closely following along and I forget they're doing that. They were doing Art this morning and all of a sudden Atley loudly said, "Oh My Gosh!!" What, what?!? I assumed something had happened, but nope just rewatching the movie in their mind while listening to the sound track! Haha. AND Svea and Nora were right there with her and knew exactly what Atley was making reference to!! :)

First picture: Nora and Atley were doing "Animal workout" with Alexa again. And they were doing snails again! Ha! Alexa instructs them to "move in slow motion" and I guess that fits under the title of "workout!!" However, Nora did get a pretty good workout trying to stop Miles from bugging her!! Haha.

Here are some pictures from Nora's morning! She and Svea dressed up in Super Hero costumes. I asked who they were and what kind of Superhero they are. Nora said, "I don't know." :) In the following picture Svea and Nora were busy at the Doll House. I like how Nora is studying the accessory she's holding. Last picture: The 3 older kids were playing with the "pull and release" car in the Preschool Room. Avi has a Doctor appointment and is not here today.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
