Nora - 08/11/2021

Nora ate whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate pork roast, no whole wheat tortillas, bite of potatoes, bite of carrots, and ate fruit salad.  

There were several kids from Meadow Hill Middle School walking past our big window with a couple of adults. We were all at the window waving at them. Atley saw the adult waving back at us and she said, "I saw that guy in the Olympics!!" LOL! Dang that made me laugh!!

First picture: Nora started this yesterday and finished it this morning; covering her entire paper with tape. This represents a lot of work. Good job Nora. She actually did more tape after I took the picture. 

Next two pictures: Atley and Nora were doing the "Animal Workout" again and following all of Alexa's instructions. First picture they were "elephants" stomping around the room and Callahan had joined them for a few minutes. I like how Nora is checking her reflection in the mirror. Second picture: You can guess what animal they are here!! They had both just "dove" off the balance beam into the water! You win if you said "Dolphins." :) 

I took the last picture within a minute of going outside this morning. Atley spotted a grasshopper and that's the first one we've seen in our yard this year. The kids got a big kick out of watching the hopper hopping around.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
