Nora - 08/20/2021

Nora ate cream of wheat cereal and dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, brown rice, ate broccoli, and three servings of pineapple. 

First picture: This is left over from yesterday afternoon when Atley, Nora, and Eden were collecting roly-poly bugs and putting them in the dump truck along with some dirt and grass. And this pictures applies to this morning as well as they were doing the same thing again. Second picture; The usual gymnastics on the balance beam and mattress. Nora loves it when I stop the picture in mid-frame like this. 

Eden has been working with the legos while Nora and Atley watch for a few moments and then launched right into their own projects. Second picture: This was pretty cool because they combined their individual efforts into one project! Without arguing!! Sometimes it helps when one child is older and bossy! Ha. And sometimes that doesn't help one bit!! This time it helped.

Next picture: Nora and Svea asked if they could play with the goodies they brought from home. These two kindred spirits are so cute together!! Nora had her purse (Or whatever she calls it. I called it a "lunch bucket" and she set me straight on that! Haha.) on her arm and was telling Svea she needed to wrap the bunny around her arm - which is possible with the velcro - so she didn't lose it on their walk. I think they were going shopping or out for tea. Ha. Or wine. Last picture; Same scenario, but they'd traded and you can see see the bunny attached to Nora's arm.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
