Nora - 08/23/2021

Nora ate bran cereal and half of her raisins for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken topped with avocado, two servings of whole wheat pita bread, ate cucumbers, and ate pears.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were very busy all morning. So much so that they didn't even want to go outside. (Tate mowed this morning so Nora and Atley did spend some time at the window! Haha!) First picture: Atley was working on a sorting activity and Nora was making a shape with this electronic game. 

Next picture: Nora and Atley at the Doll House with the new accessories. There's a "unicorn accessory" in this set so Atley was very interested!! Ha. Following picture: Nora is arranging the family and the food while Atley is attending to the barnyard animals; Dinosaurs! Haha.

Last picture: The 3 big girls spent a LONG time working with Mr Potato Head. There are 4 completed ones lined up in front of Nora. Nora's is the one on the right. I'm still proud of this Potato Head score at a Garage Sale!! Haha. There are 8 bodies and LOTS of accessories all in excellent shape for $25. Nora decided it was time to look "cross-eyed" when I took the picture! Ha.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
