Nora Hansen's Journal

Nora ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  She drank 5 ounces at 10:15.  She ate several good bites of "Shepard's Pie" (with mashed potatoes, corn, peas, hamburger), ate a few bites of flat bread, and a few bites of cherries (pie cherries which are slightly tart!) from the cherry fruit mix.  Nice job Nora!! This first picture is from yesterday afternoon when Avilene awoke from her nap.  (She still has her pajama's on.)  She wanted to give Nora a love and it was SO sweet how they were leaning into each other!  There was love coming from both sides.  This reminded me of earlier in the afternoon when Sophie and Hudson were arguing about who had first dibs on Baby Nora!!  Ha!  "My Baby Nora!"  "My Baby Nora!"  Back-n-forth.  Avi was sleeping or she would have probably joined them - if she could talk!  :) I've mentioned how many times Nora looks in the mirror and is amused by it all.  Lauralea was watching her f...

For breakfast Nora ate french toast and had a good taste of a strawberry before it came back out.  :)  She was too tired to make it until lunch (had a great morning though), but she'd drank 6 ounces about 10:00 so I'll feed her lunch as soon as she wakes up.  Reid made an important (Public Service?) announcement at Lunch Time:  "All of you in here, including Baby Nora, should NEVER try a Jalapeño chip!!"  It is awful!!  :)  Thank you Reid. Nora was the only one here for probably 20 minutes and she played for awhile and finally went to the gate like you see in the picture below and waited to see who would come.  As usual, when Avilene arrived Nora started squealing.  Avi gave her Dad a kiss bye and then puckered up like she was going to kiss Nora, although she got distracted before that happened!  Haha! Nora was a sleepyhead this morning and after a 2 hour nap she had a bottle at 10:00.  For lunch she had bites of almost everything: Hamburger, toast, roasted vegetables (red potatoes, no beets, sweet potatoes, and brussel sprouts), and applesauce.  She also had a big poop after her morning nap and she was one happy camper.  When she was in the throes of pooping she was laying on her tummy stiff as a board yelling, with her face a couple of inches from the steps to the balance beam.  Avilene looked at her, then went over and got beside and looked at the steps to see what was causing the commotion!  Cracked me up!! Ok, Nora's 1st Blog!  I'll give you a little head's up how this works.  I do these Blogs at Nap Time - like right now - and so the content is from the morning's activities.  Occasionally I'll include something from the previous afternoon as well.  The time range for the Blogs to be posted will be between 12:30 (at the very earliest) to 3:00. (at the latest)  If the Blog hasn't posted by 3:00 it usually means I'm very busy or any number of excuses!!  Haha!  It rarely happens that it doesn't get posted.  However, I now am doing 5 Blogs at nap time so it takes some time.  The content of the Blogs will include what they had for breakfast and lunch and two or three notes about their morning.  I post pictures almost daily because they tell the best stories!!  If a story involves 2 or more kids I might copy and paste that tidbit to more than one Journal.  (And that really helps me get them done quicker!)  Enjoy!  And I love ...
